Drug paraphernalia found on driver

Charges are pending against a Long Pond man after Pocono Mountain Regional Police found drug paraphernalia in his possession.

According to police, on Aug. 30, at 1:35 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop along Grey Birch and Long Pond roads, Long Pond, for a vehicle code violation. Upon addressing the driver, officers detected the odor of marijuana and observed drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle revealed additional paraphernalia. Officers determined that the owner of the contraband was Triston Fraser, 20, who was a passenger in the vehicle.

Charges are pending through Judge Claypool's office.
