A female driver escaped injury Thursday morning when involved in a crash along Welshtown Road in Washington Township. The crash occurred at 9:30 a.m. as she was driving east and apparently failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle swerved to the left crossing the roadway climbing a slight grass embankment causing the venicle to roll onto its roof. The woman managed to extricate herself from the wreckage. The roadway was closed for two hours. State police at Fogelsville are investigating the incident.
