Two sought in tire-slashing

Two suspects in a tire-slashing incident in Schuylkill County are being sought.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Sterman Masser Potato Farms, located at 2 Fear Not Rd., in Hubley Township.

Troopers said a male and a female arrived at the location at the time and date stated. The female proceeded to slash the tires on a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu which was parked alongside the building.

An employee of Sterman Masser confronted the two and they ran through the parking lot. The two got into a older model vehicle and fled the scene. The damaged vehicle belongs to Kevin Gonse, 37, of New Bloomfield, Perry County.
