The engagement of Stacie Surotchak to Richard Jasinski Jr., both of Hopatcong, N.J., has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Bruce and Anna Mae Surotchak of Tamaqua. She graduated from Tamaqua Area High School in 2004.In 2008 she graduated from Marywood University with a bachelor of science degree in communication sciences and disorders. She received a master of science degree in 2010.She is employed as a speech-language pathologist at a nursing home in Hackettstown, N.J.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Richard and Suzanne Jasinski of Lake View, N.Y. He graduated from Frontier Central High School and entered the U.S. Navy in 1999.He currently has his red seal stationary engineers license and is employed as a lead operations and maintenance technician at a cogeneration plant in Elmwood Park, N.J.A June 2, 2012 wedding has been set.
