The Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tamaqua raised just over $3,000 during their annual fall fundraising event held over the weekend. The church is raising funds to held fund a new sidewalk and to repair their church roof. The event consisted of a rummage sale, homemade food and vendors. Pictured filling in for Ida Piccin, who has run the baked goods sale for over 35 years, is volunteer Fran Stahl.
