Wreckers fall to Pius in v'ball

Pius X of Roseto handed Weatherly a 3-1 loss in a non-league girls volleyball match on Friday by the scores of 25-21, 17-25, 25-15, 25-19.

Alicia Panzarella had another great game for Weatherly despite the loss, with 40 digs, three kills, two blocks and one ace.

Sarah Dolinsky had 22 digs, 12 kills and one block and Jessica Adamczyk had four kills, 15 digs and 11 blocks.

Postponements

Friday night football games that were postponed have all been rescheduled for tonight at 7 p.m.

Bangor is at Palmerton, Shenandoah Valley visits Panther Valley and Minersville is at Marian. Jim Thorpe will also host Mahanoy Area at Panther Valley Stadium today at 1 p.m.
