The Western Pocono Community Library is cordially inviting everyone to a first time savory event. "A Taste of Fall" will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16 from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the library, which is located on Pilgrim Way, off Rt. 115, Brodheadsville (across from Pleasant Valley Middle School.)

This fundraiser is being hosted by local restaurants, businesses and friends so that you may enjoy a sampling of delectable foods and beverages as you walk around the main floor of the library. Music will be available for your listening pleasure.

Some of the hosts include Antonio's Grille, Morghan Rake Coffee Roasters, Stroudsmoor Country Inn, Luna Rossa, Ye Olde Saylor's Inne, DeMarco's Bakery, Franco's Restaurant and Pizza ... just to name a few. Wine from local vineyards will be available for your enjoyment. The hosts will have unique stations located throughout the library, each offering specialty foods and drink for you to enjoy.

Door prizes will be gift certificates from Meadowbrook Diner, Ardii's Pizza & Restaurant, Cherry's Sunset Family Restaurant, just to name a few, and will be drawn throughout the event.

Advance tickets are available now at the library, at a cost of $20 per person or you may send a check and your tickets will be held for you at the door. Tickets will be $25 at the door.

The library extends a special thanks to the hosts for their generosity in this first time event for WPCL. All proceeds will help the library continue its many services to the community.
