Carbon driver facing DUI count
A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).
State police at Lehighton said Tisha Staehle, 31, of Lansford, was stopped about 2 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 9, along SR443 in Mahoning Township after being observed driving erratically.
She showed signs of intoxication and failed field sobriety tests, troopers said. She was then taken to the Palmerton Hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers added.
