Published October 10. 2011 05:03PM

Marcy Lyn Hunsicker, 40, of 520 Pine St., Jim Thorpe, has been arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks on charges of simple assault, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and harassment stemming from an incident at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 25 in penn Forest Township.

She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Bruce Appleton and released pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for 1:15 p.m. Oct. 19 before Magisterial District Judge Edward Lewis of Jim Thorpe.

Trooper Garth Holloway is the arresting officer. His report indicates Hunsicker arrived at 555 Behrens Road in the township, which is the residence of Lisa Dart, the girlfriend of the defendant's estranged husband, Dwayne, and confronted the husband, continuing to blow the horn of her vehicle and yelling at the victims. Police said Hunsicker began throwing rocks at Dart's 2007 Dodge Nitro. When Dwayne Hunsicker confronted his estranged wife, she threw rocks at him and punched him in the face several times, causing a laceration of his lower lip, the report says.

Police said the victim's vehicle sustained several scratches from the thrown rocks.

Police said the defendant was still at the scene when they arrived.
