Christopher Miller, 22, of 235 E. Ridge St., Lansford, faces charges from an incident which took place on Sept. 23 on W. Patterson Street. Charges of corruption of minors and furnishing alcohol to minors were filed by Officer Joshua Tom. As a result of these charges, Miller turned himself in and was sent to prison due to the fact he is currently on probation.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, here's what happened:

At 7:50 p. m., Tom was on foot patrol when he saw a group of juveniles causing a disturbance in the Bank of America parking lot on West Patterson Street.

Upon making contact with the youths, it was discovered that they were under the influence of alcohol, and so were arrested.

After investigating the incident, it was learned that Miller was the person who furnished the alcohol to these minors.

On Sept 26, Tom located Miller and took him in for questioning. Miller cooperated. Tom read him his rights and Miller agreed to speak with him. During the interview, Tom asked Miller if he purchased an alcoholic drink called Four Loco for the minors. Miller immediately admitted he did buy the drink for the minors on the night of Sept. 23.
