The Summit Hill Water Authority has announced two changes in meeting dates.
The October meeting of the board will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12, and the November meeting will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9. Both sessions will begin at 7 p.m.
Louis Alexander, chairman, will be in charge of the meetings.
The Summit Hill Food Pantry distributes food boxes to eligible families in town on a monthly basis. Deliveries are usually made on the fourth Tuesday of the month between 10 a.m. and noon.

Shade Tree news
The Summit Hill Shade Tree Commission will be conducting the fall tree plantings on Oct. 28-29.
The commission is also planning to continue its maintenance program on existing trees in the parks.
Volunteers are always welcome on planting days, as well as helping with maintenance.
Anyone interested in planting a street tree in front of their property, purchasing a memorial tree, volunteering, or making a donation to the Shade Tree Commission's efforts, may call John Kupec, 645-9644, Mary Helen Shelton, 645-5250, or Lou Vermillion, 645-9772.
Legion to meet
The monthly meeting of American Legion Post 316, Summit Hill, will be held on Monday, Oct. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the post home.
Commander W. Kevin O'Donnell will be in charge of the session.
A meeting of the Home Association will immediately follow the post's meeting.
The monthly meeting of the Summit Hill Borough Council will be held on Monday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. in the borough hall. Joseph Weber, president, will be in charge of the session.
Lansford Borough is in the process of doing a crackdown on delinquent garbage bills. Property owners having outstanding balances are asked to pay them in full in order to avoid being assessed additional costs.
Payment can be made to Tax Collector Danny Wynn at 1 W. Ridge St.
