Jim Thorpe police are investigating a burglary at a borough business.

Police said about 10:15 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, they were called to Chatelaine, located at 81 Broadway, for a reported break-in. Police said an investigation revealed the building was entered through a back door. Taken was over $700 in cash ahd checks.Tlhe incident occurred sometime between 5 p.m. on Sunday and when police were called.
