October 1, 1982 Lehighton receives touchdowns from five different players, including two from Glenn Whiteman, to cruise to a 44-7 Centennial League win over Pleasant Valley. Whiteman scores on runs of one and 10 yards for the Indians, coached by Dave Parsons. Tom Keer reaches the end zone on a 19-yard scamper and also tosses a three-yard scoring strike to Bob Hartman. Scott Andreas, who carries nine times for 116 yards, scores on a two-yard run while Scott Freeman adds an eight-yard tally.
