Penn Mahoning Ambulance Association announces its 2012 Membership Fund Drive

Residents are asked to take note, the fund drive has changed this year. The letters no longer have personal mailing addresses listed on them; they are addressed to postal customers. Penn-Mahoning Ambulance will be mailing their 2012 membership applications within a day or two.

PMAA is also announcing their purchase of a new Road Rescue Ambulance which was purchased and was put into service in August of this year. Another change made this year is that they added a paid staff Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. this was due to a shortage of volunteers. Volunteers cover the remaining hours and weekends. These changes were made to supply our residents and surrounding areas with continuing care.

Membership rates are as follows: Individuals - $25; Family - $35; and Household - $40. Residents that have not received a mailing by Dec. 10 can obtain one by calling the ambulance building, located on West Penn Pike, at (570) 386-2233.

Additionally, they are always seeking more volunteers for information please call the aforementioned number.
