Kristi Strohl and Scott Berger exchange vows

Kristi Strohl, daughter of Keith and Susan Strohl of Lehighton, and Scott Berger, son of Colin Berger and Denise Brotzman of Kunkletown, were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 2011 at Middlecreek Christian Church in Kunkletown.

Pastor Wes Wales officiated at the double ring ceremony. Tamara Lehig was the pianist. Lamont Sherer was the vocalist.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Clarissa Bartholemew of Parryville to be her maid of honor.Bridesmaids included LeeAnn Green, Kunkletown; Melissa Leaser, Lehighton; Amy Breisch, Lehighton; Kimberly Olving, Lehighton; Amber Reichard, Kunkletown; and Jessica Boyer, Parryville.Katelyn Green, Kunkletown, was a junior bridesmaid. Gabriella Green, also of Kunkletown, was the flower girl.The bridegroom chose Cory Sherer of Parryville to serve as the best man. Ushers included Darrin Frantz, Kunkletown; Dave Thompson, Blossburg, Pa.; Andy Hatesaul, Millerton; Matthew Sterner, Kunkletown; Daniel Frantz, Kunkletown; and Seth Hahn, Palmerton.Hunter Green, Kunkletown, was a junior groomsmen. Wyatt Sherer of Parryville was the ring bearer.The couple welcomed family and friends to a reception at the Polk Township Fire Company in Kresgeville.They currently reside in Saylorsburg.The new Mrs. Berger is a 2009 graduate of Carbon Career & Technical Institute.She is employed at Brookmont Healthcare Center in Effort.Mr. Berger is a 2006 graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and Monroe Career & Technical Institute.He is currently employed as a truck driver by the Moran Group, Inc. in Hellertown.
