Adults and children of all ages are invited to prepare for the coming of our Lord Jesus and celebrate His birth in a four-week program, "Family Advent Adventure," hosted by Zion Lutheran Church, Mauch Chunk and Greenwood Sts., Tamaqua.

Participants will hear the Christmas story as told in the Gospels, decorate a tree, do crafts and learn about some favorite Christmas carols so be prepared to sing.Time: 8:30 a.m. 9:20 a.m. on the following Sundays - Nov. 27, Dec. 3, Dec.11 and Dec. 18.On the evening of Dec. 18, participants will be going Christmas caroling then gather at the church for hot chocolate and cookies.For more information, contact Suzanne Cunningham at (570) 386-9262 or the church office (570) 668-2180.
