A dwelling received substantial damage early Sunday morning when flames tore through the home along Scout House Road in Washington Township. The fire was first reported just after 2 a.m. bring numerous fire companies from throughout Lehigh and Carbon counties. The two occupants of the home did manage to escape the flames but are displaced at the time.
