Published November 21. 2011 05:03PM

State police at Frackville reported an arrest has been made in the garbage-dumping incident at a Schuylkill County cemetery.

Troopers reported earlier this week that someone dumped several large garbage bags of household waste at the Holy Emmanuel Cemetery, in Mahanoy Township. The incident was reported on Saturday, Nov. 12.

As the result of an investigation troopers have charged Joseph Vezo Jr., of Mahanoy City, with scattering rubbish. If found guilty Vezo faces a fine of $300 and/or 90 days in jail, troopers added.
