Marijuana plant found in Carbon

State police at Lehighton, acting on a tip, found a marijuana plant growing in a yellow glass pot in a wooded area behind the 300 block of Court Street, rear, in Franklin Township, Carbon County.

The plant was found about 11:08 a.m. on Nov. 9, troopers said. No suspects have been found. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
