Tamaqua High School Leadership Council is holding a coat drive for needy students in the Tamaqua school district this winter. Anyone can bring in coats to the high school main office during the day or until 5 p.m. after school. Coats will be given to local students and families. The Tamaqua Salvation Army is also collecting coats and gloves for needy families in our area over the winter. Organizers ask donators to wash the coats and gloves before donating them.
