Pedestrian struck in Schuylkill

An pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Schuylkill County accident that occurred on Friday, Nov. 11.

Troopers said Raymond Moyer, 74, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound on SR443, in Washington Township, about 5:18 p.m. when John Graf, 87, of Schuylkill Haven, was attempting to cross the road after exiting the Red Lion Cafe. Graf walked into the path of the Blazer and was struck by the driver's side mirror.

Graf was knocked to the ground. Troopers indicated Graf was injured but did not state if he required medical attention.
