DUI arrests reported

State police at Lehighton reported on three driving under the influence (DUI) arrests reported by troopers.

On Saturday, Nov. 12, about 2:24 a.m. troopers stopped a vehicle along North Main Lane and SR209 bypass in Lehighton for several vehicle equipment violations. The driver was identified as Joy A. Brady-Jacoby, 26, of Bath, Northampton County. She was found to be under the influence and transported to the Lehighton hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

On Sunday, Nov. 13, about 12:25 a.m. troopers stopped a vehicle at Forest Inn and Fireline roads, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County. The driver was identfied as Russell O. Breiner Jr., 38, of Palmerton. He was found to be under the influence. He was taken to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

Also on Sunday, about 1:55 a.m., troopers stopped a vehicle at Burger Hollow and Serfass roads in Polk Township, Monroe County, for equipment violations. The driver was identified as Carl Oxenrider, 60, of Polk Township. Troopers said Oxenrider was taken for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.
