State police at Fern Ridge are looking for a hit and run driver involved in a crash on Oct. 26 along Neola Road, just south of South Lane, in Jackson Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Denise L. Tucker, 48, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 2009 Chrysler 300 southbound while another vehicle was in a driveway. For unknown reasons the driver in the driveway drove onto Neola Road in front of Tucker. Tucker's car struck the other vehicle on the rear drivers' side bumper with the front of the Chrysler.

After impact the other driver fled the scene south on Neola Road. Tucker sustained an injury in the crash and was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. A passenger with her, Marvin E. Crocker, 45, of Reeders, was not injured.

Troopers said the hit and run vehicle was described as a 1987 GMC conventional cab truck.

Troopers also reported on two crashes investigated by troopers on Saturday, Oct. 29.

The first crash occurred about 8:43 a.m. along SR715 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said John A. Magluilo, 25, of Stroudsburg, was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer when the vehicle left the road and struck a utility pole with the passenger side front end. After impact the vehicle overturned onto the driver's side, then turned back onto its wheels and came to rest in the southbound lane.

Magluilo was not injured but the Ford had to be towed from the scene.

Troopers cited Magluilo for driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.

The second crash occurred about 12:41 p.m. along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Charles Rogucki, 33, of Berwick, was driving a 1996 Ford F150 pickup truck eastbound when he drove off the road and struck the guardrail with the front end.

Rogucki was not injured but the truck had to be towed from the scene.
