Drug suspect arraigned

Steven Marsicano, 44, of 223 N. Lehigh St., Tamaqua, is escorted from his arraignment by Tamaqua Patrolman Matt Bynon Thursday afternoon. Marsicano was arraigned before District Judge Stephen Bayer on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver, delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communications facility. Marsicano allegedly sold drugs to an undercoper operative in 2010. The arrest was made by Patrolman Anthony Stanell, who was working with Sgt. Rick Weaver and the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force. Bail was set at $10,000. Unable to post the required 10 percent, Marsicano was transported to the Schuylkill County Prison in Pottsville.
