Announcement has been made of the engagement of Ashley McDonald and Martin Hage, both of Philadelphia.

The bride-elect is the daughter of attorney William and Joanne McDonald of West Penn Township. She graduated from Drexel University, Philadelphia, with a bachelor's degree in design and merchandising.She is employed by Macy's Department Store, Ardmore, as visual manager.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Jerry and Alisan Hage of Crystal Lake, Ill. He studied theater at Viterbo University in Wisconsin.He is employed as canvass director for the Clean Air Council of Philadelphia.The couple is planning a wedding for the spring of 2013.
