Interactive magic show staged in Panther Valley

The Panther Valley Public Library and the Summit Hill Heritage Center helped children get into the Halloween spirit on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The afternoon featured an interactive magic show by magician Joseph Keppel, aimed at encouraging children to read, and safety tips from Lansford police officer Chris Midas and Lt. David Midas of the Carbon County Sheriff's department.

The children also received trick-or-treat bags filled with goodies and safety pamphlets.
