Carbon County Safe Kids will host a free car seat check up on Monday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kovatch Dealership Inc., 420 N. First St., Lehighton.

Parents can have their child's car seat checked by a safety specialist to make sure the seat is properly installed; as well as see if the seat's expiration date has passed, if there are any recalls on the model, etc.To assure the most accurate check, parents are asked to bring the child that uses the car seat.
