Fishing Rodeo held in Barnesville

More than 160 children registered to take part in the 33rd Locust Valley Fish and Game Club's annual free children's fishing rodeo held recently. Dale Sitler, club Vice Prsident, stated, "Every child gets a prize." He also mentioned over 80 fish were stocked at the pond during the season. Hundreds of prizes lined the prize tables inside the club and consisted of fishing poles, six bikes, games, tackle boxes and more. Children also enjoyed free soda and hot dogs. Appreciations were given to all the volunteers who help put this rodeo together every year for the children.Bri Sitler shows her son Chase Carroll, 4, how to throw a cast during the fishing rodeo and then poses with his catch of the day.
