Panther Valley High School's Alexia Follweiler will continue her academic and swimming careers at Lycoming College.

Follweiler, a resident of Coaldale is a three-time PIAA State qualifier and a State medalist.

During her four-year varsity career with the Panthers, she won 11 District 11 medals, including five gold. Follweiler was part of a Panther Valley squad that captured a District 11 Team Champions.

In addition to her success at districts and States, Follweiler captured 16 SchuylkillLeague medals during her career. She was also a three-time member of the league's all-star team and was named the league's Rookie of the Year n 2008.

Follweiler is a member of the Panther Valley National Honor Society.

She is the daughter Michael and Brenda Follweiler and plans to major in Biology at Lycoming.
