Four area residents among 29 arraigned on criminal counts
Four area residents were among 29 who were arraigned Monday in the office of District Attorney James P. Goodman in the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested jury trials. They were:
Mel Scott Gerber, 38, of 117 Lombard St., Tamaqua, charged with theft of a compressor from Diversified Technology Company, 109 Lakeside Avenue,. Delano Township, and criminal mischief to property. Gerber was cited by Trooper Thomas Cuff.
Tyler Brent Tyson, 19, of 368 Archery Club Road, New Ringgold, faces the same charges as Gerber by Trooper Thomas Cuff, theft and criminal mischief committed at the tech site.
Dmitriy Partin, 21, of 106 River Road, Tamaqua, charged with criminal attempt to commit theft from motor vehicle on lot at Soley's Garage, 300 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, and loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness. Partin was cited by West Penn Township Patrolman Jason Lorah. He is also charged by Patrolman Lorah with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and misbranding of a control substance.
Partin is also charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with DUI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and careless driving.
Cory Michael Whitley, 118, of 4 Rose St., Tamaqua, was charged with aggravated assault on James Medvetz, robbery, criminal conspiracy, theft of vehicle owned by Elizabeth McCormick, receiving stolen property, prohibited use of offensive weapon (brass knuckles), simple assault, criminal mischief and driving while operating privileges were suspended. Whitley was cited by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods.
Paul Valentine Rodichok, 36, Tower City, was charged with DUI and failing to drive on right side of road. He was cited by Trooper David Yearick when stopped in Porter Township.
Michael Thomas Zdiera, 19, Girardville, was charged with DUI of alcohol and drugs and failing to have a driver's license. He was cited by Butler Township Chief Edward Tarantelli.
Amy Lynn Filiziani, 36, Frackville, was charged with DUI and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic by Frackville Cpl. Marvin LIvergood.
Linda Rabbitz-Confair, 41, Frackville, was charged with DUI by Cpl. LIvergood.
Zachary Wayne McHenry, 20, Frackville, was charged with simple assault and recklessly endangering a juvenile, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was cited by Cpl. Livergood.
Edwin James Dietrich, 50, Pine Grove, was charged with DUI and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic by Pine Grove Cpl. William Gelgot.
Jesse Jordan Aungst, Pine Grove, was charged with DUI, underage drinking, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, failing to drive at safe speed, careless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages in vehicle. Aungst was cited by Trooper David Beam on Rock Road in Washington Township.
Jonathan R. Dombrowski, 23, Mahanoy City, was charged with unauthorized use of the car of Eleanor Levcertavish. He was cited by Mahanoy City Cpl. Michael Dissinger.
David B. Zettick, 51, Minersville, charged with two counts of being involved in an accident striking another vehicle, failed to give information or render aid, careless driving, reckless driving and failed to carry car insurance. Zettick was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey R. Bowers.
John Vasil Kontogiannis, 23, Pottsville, charged with DUI of alcohol and drugs, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and careless driving. He was cited by Trooper Alyssa J. Becker at intersection of state routes 183 and 61 in North Manheim Township.
Kasey Lee Starr, 19, Pottsville, charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment of Lauren Rubright. She was cited by Palo Alto Patrolman Andrew G. Lescosky.
John Thomas Morrison, 59, Orwigsburg, charged with DUI, following too closely, failing to drive at safe speed and careless driving. He was cited by Trooper John B. Carr on Briar Road in North Manheim Township.
Ronald A. Wills, 22, Locust Gap, charged with DUI, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, careless driving and failing to have signed registration card. He was cited by Hegins Township Patrolman Troy Maurer.
Jose Gabriel Rivera-Cabrera, 34, Shenandoah, charged with DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and failing to have proper rear lighting equipment. He was cited by Pottsville Patrolman Joseph R. Welsh.
Phillip James Gibble, 41, Girardville, charged with receiving copper tubing stolen from the resident's at 101 Richad Street, Girardville. He was cited by Girardville Officer James Patterson.
Oscar Roberto Flores-Laines, 24, Frackville, charged with two counts of simple assault on Duane Bainbridge in Roman's Lounge, reckllesly endangering another person and harassment. He was cited by Frackville Patrolman Christopher Hand.
Jonathan Lucas Wolfe, 30, Pottsville, charged with theft of wallet from a purse belonging to Denise Brennan at her workplace at Human Resource Department of D.J. Yuengling Inc. She was cited by Port Carbon Chief Jon J. Bowman.
Benjamin Lee Neidlinger, 18, Country Squire Motel, North Manheim Township, charged with burglary at Sammi's Mobile Home Park, North Manheim Township, theft, unauthorized use of vehicle, criminal mischief, improper display of license plate and failed to have driver's license. Neidlinger was cited by Trooper Robert Kluge.
Frank William Wagner II, 50, Schuylkill Haven, charged with passing a bag check to Liberty Oil Company, Port Carbon, in amount of $293.90. He was cited by Port Carbon Chief Jon J. Bowman.
Marques Reginald Reaves, 26, Reading, charged with aggravated assault on a Pottsville police officer, fleeing police, involved in motor vehicle accident, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, criminal mischief, giving false ID to police, driving while operating privileges were suspended, failing to obey traffic control signals, stop sign vioilaton and driving wrong way on one way roadway. Reaves was cited by Patrolman Michael Stank.
Joshua Richard Gaugler, 20, Northampton, charged with aggravate assault, burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of vehicle, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, failed to carry driver's license and driving wrong way on one way roadway. John Kyle Smith, 37, Cressona, charged with carrying a firearm without a license and person not to possess firearms because of three suicide attempts. Smith was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman David T.George.
