Monroe man facing 2 criminal counts

A Monroe County man is facing two criminal counts following an incident that occurred about 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28, at 19 Peggy Lane, in Polk Township.

State police at Fern Ridge said troopers were at the above stated residence to search for a wanted person. While ther William James Anderson, 34, of Brodheadsville, interfered with the search and when told he was being arrested, resisted troopers.Anderson was charged with resisting arrest and hindering apprehension or prosecution and was lodged in the county prison in Snydersville, pending arraignment.Troopers also reported the arrest of Kevin Gleixner, of Mt. Pocono, on a charge of receiving stolen property. Troopers said Gleixner was caught displaying a stolen license plate on an unregistered vehicle on March 22 about 6:30 p.m. along Interstate 80 at SR115, in Tobyhanna Township. The listed victim is A+ Auto Sales of Rockledge, Montgomery County, troopers said.
