Emily Mieczkowski and Matthew Patrick were united in marriage on Sept. 25, 2010 at First United Church of Christ in Palmerton. The Rev. Jared Rabold officiated the double ring ceremony. Susan Lovejoy was the organist.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Bernard and Alicia Mieczkowski of Lehighton.She chose Jamie Lauer to serve as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Michele Zanders, Emily Sheckler and Ashley Badman.The son of Anthony and Susan Patrick of Lehighton, the bridegroom chose Reese Badman to serve as best man. Ushers included Brian Mieczkowski, Derek Vogel, Kurt Lobdell and Edward Kiersnowski.The couple welcomed family and friends to a reception held at Blue Mountain Ski Area.The new Mrs. Patrick is a 2010 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she earned a degree in occupational therapy. She is employed as a certified occupational therapy assistant at Weatherwood.Mr. Patrick is a 2011 graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, where he earned a degree in criminal justice. He is employed by Alicia Paving.The newlyweds currently reside in Lehighton.
