New dump truck

The Nesquehoning Borough purchased a 2011 F550 Ford dump truck under the PA Co-Stars Program from KME in Nesquehoning. The four wheel drive truck with a snow plow adds to the borough's truck fleet and has the look of a crisp clean image painted grey. The total price was $70,000 with $60,00 taken from the Liquid Fuels Account and $10,000 from the General Fund. Accepting the truck from KME's Barry Messerschmidt (second from right) is Louie Paul, supervisor of borough work crew; and looking on are RoniSue Ahner, borough secretary-treasurer; (Left) and Mark Stromelo (left) borough council president.
