State police at Hazleton reported investigating a one-vehicle crash about 2 p.m. Tuesday along South Lehigh Gorge Drive in Lehigh Township.

Troopers said Glen P. Younker, 57, of Weatherly, was driving a 1974 Chevrolet Corvette eastbound when he lost control, causing the vehicle to rotate counterclockwise across the road.The vehicle traveled across both lanes and onto the berm, where it struck an embankment. It continued spinning out of control and then struck the front of a home at 1376 S. Lehigh Gorge Road. It came to rest partially blocking the westbound lane.Younker and his passenger, Warren M. Hinkle, 29, also of Weatherly,sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention. Damages were termed heavy to the Corvette, which was towed from the scene.Troopers cited Younker for the crash. Assisting troopers were volunteers from the Lausanne Township Fire Company and White Haven EMS unit.
