Bail hearings held for eight persons
Bail hearings were held for eight people by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin in Schuylkill Countuy court this week.
Mary Ruth Ramsey, 19, of Lansford, had her bail reduced to $500 percentage cash and she shall reside at 233 W. Patterson St., Lansford, and shall not relocate without approval of the court. Ramsey faces charges of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol filed by Coaldale Patrolman Charles Blesse, last July 9.
Joshua James Ohl, 30, formerly of Tamaqua, had a bench warrant dissolved and bail was reinstated and the forfeiture set aside. He shall reside at 369 W. Water St., Lansford, and not relocate without notifying Clerk of Courts Stephen Lukach's office or District Attorney James P. Goodman's office. Ohl faces trial on charges of endangering welfare of children as a supervisor as filed by Pottsville Patrolman Dennis Wiederhold, in August 2005.
Krista M. Stevens, 35, formerly of Shenandoah, had the bench warrant lifted and bail set at $5,000 unsecured and she shall reside at 11 Nolania Road, Barnesville, and not relocate without court permission. Stevens faces charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness filed by Mahanoy City Patrolman Michael Starr, on Dec. 8, 2008.
Christopher Michael Cataldi, 22, formerly of Saint Clair, had the bench warrant dissolved and bail reinstated and forfeiture set aside and he shall reside at 80 Water St., Cumbola, and shall not relocate without proper notification to authorities. Cataldi faces charges of simple assault filed by Saint Clair Patrolman Chad H. Seitzinger in February 2009.
David John Rambo, 22, Pottsville, had the bench warrant dissolved, bail reinstated and forfeiture set aside and he must reside at 711 Mine St., Pottsville, and not relocate without proper notification. Rambo faces charges of theft of leased DVDs from Olenick Video Store in Minersville as charged by Patrolman Jeffrey Bowers.
Phillip Hoptak, 29, Pottsville, had his bail revoked and he was remanded to the county prison to stand trial on sex assault charges.
David J. Rich, 39, Mahanoy City, had his bail reduced to $5,000 unsecured bail and he shall reside at 516 W. Market St., Mahanoy City, and cannot relocate without court permission and submit to drug and alcohol evaluation. Rich faces charges of aggravated assault.
Nicholas Baney, 21, Girardville, had his bail reduced to $500 percentage cash bail and he shall reside at 345 W. Mahanoy Ave., Girardville, and not relocate without court permission. Baney faces a charge of theft.
