Rush Township police report that on March 6 at 12:38 a.m., Joshua J. Ohl, 30, of Lansford, was taken into custody on an active bench warrant out of Schuylkill County.

Police found a large bag of marijunana on Ohl while he was in custody. Ohl was transported to county prison and is facing a charge of possession of marijuana over 30 grams.On March 7 at 9 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Marian Ave. near Air Products. John Boyer, 60, of Quakake, was driving a PennDOT truck and hit a telephone pole and knocked over wires. No injuries were reported. Quakake fire police assisted at the scene.
