A Slatington driver was cited with several offenses after he crashed his vehicle into a bridge railing and then left the scene without reporting the incident.

State police at Fogelsville said Kenneth G. Wisler, 59, was driving a 2006 Chrysler Sebring westbound on Bausch Road in Lowhill Township, at 10:37 p.m. March 3 too fast for the snow-covered roads. He lost control of his vehicle, which crossed into the oncoming lane, went off the left side of the road and struck a bridge railing, where the Chrysler came to rest. Wisler left the scene without reporting the crash.

Troopers said the vehicle sustained disabling damages and had to be towed.

Wisler was cited for the crash.
