Rev. Allen Heckman, pastor of Zion United Church of Christ in Lehighton, places colored rainbows on balcony in the church sanctuary. Heckman said, "We have been selling blank rainbows to raise money for a fund entitled 'In Dylan's Arms'. This fund is in memory of Dylan Krum (who died last July at 15 years of age). Folks are coloring the rainbows and they are being hung in the sanctuary." The fund will be use to send monetary gifts to families experiencing long hospital stays with one of their children. Krum, who lived in Lehighton, was an active member of the church. Rev. Heckman said donations are also accepted for the fund.
