State police at Lehighton reported on several driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers in recent days.
Troopers said Daquan Marvin Sease, 20, of Saylorsburg, was stopped along Blue Mountain Road at Pennell Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County, about 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, June 25. He was found to be under the influence and will be charged with DUI, troopers said.
Alson on Saturday about 6:29 p.m. troopers stopped Stephen Rutt, 40, of Reading, along SR895 when he attempted to make a left trun onto Bank St., in Bowmanstown, Carbon County. He failed to negotiate the curve and struck a concrete curb.
He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
On Friday, June 24, about 10:25 p.m. troopers stopped Nicholas Ryan Gower, 25, of Gilbert, for several traffic violations along Fairgrounds Road near Weir Mountain Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for several traffic violations. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the barracks for a breath test.
He will be charged, troopers added.
Troopers also reported that Michael F. Frey, 41, no address given, will be cited for DUI following an incident about 2:17 a.m. on Satruday along Bridge St., in Weissport, and Bobbie Jo Hunsicker, 33, no address given, will be cited for DUI following a stop on Friday along SR209 in Lehighton. No time was given for the stop.
