Break-ins, theft incidents probed

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating two burglaries and theft incidents.

A break-in occurred at a residence at 8484 Towamensing Trail, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. The entry was reported about 1:14 p.m. on June 17.

A glass window was broken to gain entry at the rear of the home. Nothing was reported taken. The home is owned by Robert and Rita Altomari, of Bensalem, Bucks County.

William Rinehart, 62, of Saylorsburg, reported his proeprty along SR209, just north of SR115, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, was entered sometime between May 28 and June 5. Removed was electrical wiring from the basement area.

Eddie Nelson Gonzalez, 62, of 76 Lucretius Trail, Towamensing Trails, Albrightsville, reported the registration plate from his vehicle was stolen. He reported the theft at 8:35 a.m. on June 17. The plate number is OXNOG1.
