The Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) summer basketball league rolled into its second full week of competition with eight games on Monday and Wednesday evening.

Cuz-N-Joe's Place, Guerilla Squad, and Ryan's Oil & Heating all had wins this week to keep them atop the standings with undefeated records (4-0), while defending league champion R.R. Frey Services suffered its first setback of the season.MONDAY'S RESULTSWeikel Sportswear-Cuz-N-Joe's PlaceA close game to start out the day with Cuz-N-Joe's Place grabbing a 70-63 win over Weikel Sportswear.For Cuz-N-Joe's, Soko Mujovic hitseven three-pointers and had 24 points in the win.Mike Stankowitch had a game-high 25 points to lead Weikel's.Ryan's Oil & Heating-Big DippersRyan's Oil & Heating opened the game on a 9-0 run before a late Big Dippers' rally forced overtime. However, Ryan's took charge in the extra sessonand came away with a77-72 overtime victory..Jeff Peel had 19 points andfive treys to aid in Ryan's victory.J.J.
