Retail theft arrests

State police at Fern Ridge reported on three arrests for retail theft, in two separate incidents.

Troopers said Kelly House, 22, and Michelle Waters, 35, both of Effort, were cited following an incident at the CVS Pharmacy located at the intersection of state routes 209 and 115, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said the two entered the store and allegedly attempted to leave the store with several items without paying for them. The incident occurred about 8:40 p.m. on June 6.

Troopers said Barry Zweier, 55, of Saylorsburg, was cited for an incident at the Weis Market, located along SR209, in Brodheadsville. He allegedly attempted to leave the store with six magazines without paying for them. The incident occurred about 3:56 p.m. on Monday, June 20.
