Three females nabbed for theft

Three females were nabbed for retail theft at a Monroe County store.

State police at Fern Ridge said the three were arrested for an incident at the Weis Market located along SR209 at Weir Lake Rd., in Chestnuthill Township.

According to troopers the three entered the store about 5:30 p.m. on Monday, June 20, and took possession of $116.42 worth of beauty products and concealed the products on their persons and in their purses. The were stopped by store security attempting to leave without paying for the items.

The three were identified as Asyaa Callwood, 18, Yaminah Aaron, 18, and a 16-year-old, all from Albrightsville.

The three were issued citations and released, troopers said.
