Two area residents among 15 arraigned on criminal counts

Two area residents were among 15 who were also arraigned on criminal charges this week at the Schuylkill County courthouse with all entering pleas of not guilty and requesting trial by jury.

Gregory J. Covell, 41, of 171 First St., Coaldale, charged by Coaldale Patrolman Charles Blesse, with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and drugs and failing to have working rear lights on his car.

John P. Dankulich, 55, of 337 Valley St., Brockton, charged by Trooper Todd W. Heinz with possession of a controlled substance (CS) and drug paraphernalia and driving while operating privileges were suspended.

Michael David Lesher, 25, Gratz, Dauphin County, charged by Trooper David Beam with five counts each of simple assault, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.

Ryan Shane Gernert, 30, Cressona, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman William I. Horn, with endangering welfare of child, harassment and four counts of disorderly conduct.

Heather Nicole Breidigan, 21, Cressona, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman David T. George, with DUI and careless driving.

Michael L. Gernert, 52, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman William Horn, with endangering welfare of a child and four counts of disorderly conduct.

James Howard Zweizig, 49, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Patrolman Horn with endangering welfare of a child and four counts of disorderly conduct.

Margaret Zweizig, 47, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Patrolman Horn with endangering welfare of a child and four counts of disorderly conduct.

Diane Marie Gernert, 46, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Patrolman Horn with endangering welfare of a child and four counts of disorderly conduct.

Cody Lee Moyer, 24, Schuylkill Haven, charged by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Gregory S. Meisner, with unlawful restrain, corruption of minors by sexual acts, simple assault and harassment.

John Anthony Lepera, 28, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Joseph R. Welsh, with two counts of endangering welfare of a child.

Helen D. Labella, 39, Mahanoy City, charged by Shenandoah Lt. Gary Keppel, with theft of leased property.

Anthony Lopez, 19, Philadelphia, charged by Chief Patrick J. Carroll, Schuylkill Campus, Penn State University Police Department, with institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct.

Ashley Slack, 44, Pottsville, charged by Patrolman Minersville Jeffrey R. Bowers, with altering, forging or counterfeiting license plate.

Michael J. Scholeck, 45, Auburn, charged by Auburn Chief Anthony M. Kuklinski, with aggravated and simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person and harassment.
