Members of the Diligence Fire Companyin Summit Hill visited graves of departed members and placed firefighter flags on them, recently. Looking at the tombstone of John "Jackie" Stoudt, who died Dec. 25, 2004 after being stricken while responding to a call, are, l-r, Shawn Hoben, fire chief; Paul Yurichek, the fire department's longest memberat 44 years, and Larry Black, president. Stoudt is buried in the GAR Cemetery. There were nine cemetery sites visited by a group of about a dozen members of the fire company.
