Emergency personnel raced to a home Monday morning in the Schuylkill County borough of Cressona after it was reported a garage and residence were both in flames and a man was found at the scene covered in blood. The incident began about 8:30 a.m. at 49 River St. When firefighters arrived they found a large detached garage and the home in flames. The man was identified as James Hahn. State police at Schuylkill Haven also responded to the scene. A report indicated that Hahn was found on the back porch of the home covered in blood and suffering a severe facial injury. Fire companies from throughout central Schuylkill County were called. Hahn was flown by Medevac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. No condition report was made available by the hospital, at the request of the family, it was reported.
