ACS holds first annual scavenger hunt

Volunteers with Carbon-Tamaqua Chapter of the American Cancer Society held their first annual scavenger hunt recently through the streets of Tamaqua. The hunt was held in Sunday in conjuction with their annual ice cream social and "Paint the Town Purple" tree lighting event. Teams were given a list of tasks and items to take photos with via their digital cameras or camera phones. Three trophies were also awarded to the teams that finished first.
