Compliments of nutrition manager Vicki Stahr; Lisa Mace, Panther Valley Middle School principal; and Kathy Inama, PVMS nurse, the school held a Nutrition Fair exposing the students to all of the food groups to the Food Pyramid.

Some of the tables at the event were from the American Cancer Society, Safe Kids, Penn State Cooperative Extension, an Exercise Booth, and Drugs and Alcohol. Students each got a ticket with a chance to win a prize and at the end of the day a bicycle was awarded to a lucky child.Taste testing gave everyone a pleasure as they received a piece of fruit and a delicious smoothie. Mozarella sticks were a favorite as well.Middle School stduents hope that next year the Nutrition Fair will return.
