Published July 29. 2011 05:02PM

Three persons were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 4:40 p.m. July 27 on Interstate 81 southbound in Frailey Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at the Frackville barracks said Robert Baker, 77, of Plantation, Fla., was driving the vehicle when he lost control of it and it crossed both southbound lanes, entering the west berm. The vehicle proceeded to roll over and came to rest in the grass adjacent to the west berm.

Baker suffered a head laceration while two passengers, Steven Shaw, 59, of Milbury, Mass., and Clare Baker, 80, also of Plantation, were also hurt. Shaw complained of pain while Baker suffered cracked ribs, police said.

The three vehicle occupants were treated at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
