A Kunkletown woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash July 24 at 3:30 p.m. on Pohopoco Drive in Towamensing Township.

Deborah L. Kropf, 54, was hurt in the mishap, according to state police at the Lehighton barracks.

Police said she was driving a 2006 Kia Optima that was unable to stop in time after a vehicle had pulled out from a driveway in an attempt to cross Pohopoco Drive, causing the two vehicles to collide. The other vehicle was driven by Charles B. Rodgers Jr., 51, of Palmerton, who was driving a 2005 Mercury Mountaineer.

Kropf was traveling west on Pohopoco Drive about 312 feet west of the Beltzville State Park when the accident happened.

Her injuries required an EMS transport, police said.
